New forum format removed avatar & member status

Should be fixed now. Newly registered users get less flexibility but confirmed users (more posts and registration time) get unlimited edit time.

My title is still glitched. I haven't been on TechSpot for a while, could this be the reason it wasn't fixed?
Not sure what was up with that, but I was able to manually fix your status. Hope that doesn't replicate with other users.
That or maybe xenforo isn't liking your vbulletin references :)

Thank you. I was quite surprised to see that, not only was my title changed, but that the forums were very different. I'm going to find a ZenForo guide and post it.

Edit Post option: I reported in an earlier post on this thread that the edit option was missing from one of my threads. When I ticked "Post Reply" the edit option was restored and has been permanently retained.

Private Message: Has this been replaced with "Start a new conversation."?

And exactly how do the following conversation options work?
  • Allow anyone in the conversation to invite others: Does this mean the message is private until this option is ticked?
  • Lock conversation (no responses will be allowed): Does this block the recipient of the conversation as well as other viewers?
My vote: Have to say the new format is a quantum improvement on the old format. Ten out of ten, pending fine tuning.

Being able to simply click the task bar options for formatting text is a huge improvement. Especially bold, underline, italic, bullet, etc. It makes it so much easier when posting and more so in editing, especially bullets.

Embedded pictures: I haven't tried it yet, but is it possible to add an embedded picture by directly uploading from your PC without having to put it on an upload site like TinyPic?

Also are attachments available to be downloaded by public viewers who aren't members?

Conversations: It is possible to remove conversations between yourself and another member? I can't seem to find an option to do so, as you could in the old format PMs.
