No connection on multiple networks

  1. Ok here we go. I apologize if I don't give enough info needed to diagnose the problem, but I'm only a novice.

It all started when my avast antivirus found a worm coming from system32/drivers/AFD.sys. I couldn't quarantine the file, so I cut it and moved it to another folder. Upon restart, I have "limited or no connectivity". I tried putting the file back but that didn't change anything. I'm pretty sure this isn't a router issue. I have a wired connection running to my router, and I also have a wireless card with access to my neighbors' unsecured networks. No dice on any of them. My

IP address comes up as When I try to renew, it says "error ocurred...RPC server is unavailable".

I also can't start my dhcp client, it gives me "erroe 1075: the dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion". The dependency services listed are the normal 3 recommended in most fixes.

Does anyone have any advice???? I have XP SP3 by the way.
