No IE & Firefox but Outlook does work, with logs

    Hey everyone, I am having quite a problem getting a laptop to connect to the web. Internet Explorer and Firefox do not work however, I can send/recieve in Outlook. I have already tried running the winsockfix application and that did not solve my problems. I ran Hijack This and have attached the log since I can't include the contents here (less than 5 posts).

    Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks.

    the log contains
    O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\windows\system32\nwprovau.dll
    but don't panic -- that's the Winsock for IPX. SHOULD not be necessary but not harmful either
