    ok some one brought around a presario c700
    it starts to boot then goes to blue screen, so can i get some thing to reset the bootstrap ????
    as the restore is on the hard drive that will not work

    yes but it was still on the hdd that went wrong
    no he did not burn a cd off when he got the laptop like you would - go figure!
