Nvidia 8500G stop working

  1. i am using geforce 8500GT. but since last week my screen keep flipping. i check the display fan but it is still working. then i remove and reinstall the display card. but the problem become worse. now i cannot even turn on my computer. the screen image appear corrupted.

    can i know why? am i need to change new display card?

    my computer spec:

    Asus m2a-vm (amd 690G chipset)
    amd athlon 64 x2 4400+
    1 gb ddr 667 mhz
    nvidia 8500GT 512 mb (asus)

    Yes, it does sound like the graphics card is failing. Do you happen to have another card to test in your PC or can you test your 8500GT in another PC to confirm it?

    yes, i had try another display card in my computer. It is working. i think my motherboard is ok. but i havent try my display card on another computer. will try it soon.
