Nvidia has been on a roll with their graphics card drivers over the past month, releasing a new version almost every week. This week it's the GeForce 344.65 WHQL drivers, which have been designed to be 'Game Ready' for Assassin's Creed Unity, Ubisoft's latest title that launches today.

These drivers bring SLI profiles and performance enhancements to the title just in time for gamers to fire it up and start playing. However, as the driver has been released just a week after version 344.60 for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, there aren't many additional improvements, save for a few bug fixes and three updated SLI profiles.

As you'd expect, previous driver improvements are included with version 344.65, including Dynamic Super Resolution on Kepler and Fermi GPUs as well as optimizations for the latest crop of games.

You can grab the latest bunch of drivers from our driver download section, or let GeForce Experience update them for you. Speaking of GeForce Experience, Nvidia has released a minor update that brings the utility to version 2.1.4.0, adding support for streaming to Shield devices running Android 5.0. You can download the GeForce Experience here.

Does every new game need its special driver? Same thing happened with the CoD release a week ago. Couldn`t they just figure it out during the development or is this some marketing stunt?

This isn't a stunt, they honestly didn't work it out in development. The PS4 version of the game will apparently need a patch as well, as the framerate is practically broken (30fps when nothing is going on, below 20 in crowds). Damn thing looks like a flip book at times in the PS4 streams.

I heard the XBO version is relatively okay, though.
