OCZ to use SandForce controllers on future SSDs

  1. OCZ Technology is fast becoming a dominant force in the solid-state drive market. Over the past year or so the company has released nearly a dozen different series, targeting home and enterprise users at competitive price points, and usually receiving high marks on reviews. Now, showing its commitment to be at the forefront of SSD technology, OCZ is teasing a new generation of drives based on controllers from startup SandForce.

    Um... what is SandForce , what does it do ? Why is OCZ gonna use em ? i didn't really get it :/

    they are making the controllers for the SSD's OCZ are making =)
  4. Sand Force has got a very poor reliability when it comes to real world applications, it does good on IO06 and IO08 but its performance drastically drops when u install an OS. It has problems installing Win 7 and also their drives die pretty quick! OCZ Beware, rethink!
