  1. Hi guys.

Hope someone here can help as this is making me go nuts.

I have 3 machines running Outlook 2007 on XP pro OSs. OUtlook works perfectly on one, it crashes on another at random times when I am writing an email and on the third pc outllook 2007 crashes whenever I try to add an attachment.

All running AVG AV and Zonealarm Pro.

Any ides how to make Outlook 07 behave itself?

    Thanks in advance

    Look at PST files

What size are they? Archive.pst also... Try compact them both delete stuff you don't need or create to sub folders for PST and store them their. Don't let the main PST get to huge. Did you update to SP1 for 2007.

Try turning off Email Scanner in AVG and see if that fixes the problem? Are you using any Spam program also? Their is a trick to the Email Scanner in the free AVs that I've learned. I'll share if anyone is interested?

do you use any kind of email template as I had this problem on two machines that were running home made templates. When I removed these templates and substituted them for extended signatures, Outlook on both machines seemes a lot more stable.
