Ok let's see who can answer this one

I have 98 bundled on my computer.. downloaded 2000 from a disc a month or so ago because my browser got slow in 98, plus I just wanted to see what it was like. Now when I navigate to my stored folder which is suddenlly on my D drive I the icon has changed and when I try to open a folder I get the mssg:

D:/ .......(path to the folder)..pop3uidl.dbx was not a valid font file.

Can anyone tell me what that's all about? I have searched the web for answers and have gotten nowhere :(

Lisa- In add/remove programs, select OE6 and tell it to add/remove. There should be a menu pop up which will allow you to repair OE6.

The .dbx file is an index file for your mailbox, and is used to describe the contents. I forget it's exact function.

Also.. you say you navigated to your stored folder.. what are you trying to find there, or trying to run? Is the dbx/idx/mbx error IN outlook express? You're not to clear on that.

Details would help immensley. :)
