So, I've been doing a little research on overclocking, but I'm not entirely sure what settings I'd have to put on, and I'm very cautious about changing the voltage on my processor, therefore I'm asking for help :D

I've got a Mach Speed Viper K8M8MS motherboard:

I've got an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ processor running at 2.0 GHz (standard)

    I've got a 450 watt power supply

I've got 1 Gigabyte of Ultra DDR Ram

I know my processor is very overclockable, but I'll need some help before I feel confident not to burn everything out.

Whats the point of overclocking when you have got a powerful processor already. You are burning your money and its a waste of time. Give me your processor instead.

My Athlon 64 3000+ runs currently at 2.25 GHz (250 MHz FSB) without any voltage increases, with its stock heatsink.

I keep Cool'n'Quiet enabled because it saves power - most of the time the CPU is idling. It just idles at about 1125 MHz now.
