Ovko.exe ?

By jobeard

  1. Performing routine maintenance, I found OVKO.EXE located under the
    Admin\local\temp
    and several registry entries (services) associated with it.
    { XP/Home SP2 fully updated}

    Hoping to discover some description of it, I googled for OVKO.EXE to no
    avail :(
    I was hoping for something akin to
    http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/ISSVC/

    Anyone have some info on this service?

    I have set it DISABLED for the time being.

    Anything in the Temp directory can be deleted without even a second thought.

    Obviously something that does NOT belong on your PC. If it can't be found on a normal Google search, you can be sure it's not a regular program.
    I would not lose a night's sleep over it, but just delete it.
