Hi,

I wana make a 20 - 30 gb partition for me to store windows files on there so when i format i can just copy stuff to there and don't need to back up on DVD discs

I had this before but i decided to join the partition can some one tell me how o can make a 20 - 30 gb Storage partition

Get a program like Partition Magic, which can shrink your current partition, and then create a new storage partition in the left-over space.
It's just as easy though, to buy a second hard disk instead.

yeah i use partition magic just making sure theres nothign special i gotta do

Theres a loop hole there, it wouldnt be as easy if you havnt got $100 or so to do it!

New hard drives are much less costly than good partitioning software, and make more sense, because they offer more security. Otherwise, you will need Partition Magic 8, Acronis, System Commander, etc. Acronis is very good. Partition Magic support only lasts a short time.
