    Hello!

I have an Sony Vaio VGC-RB50 and am running onboard graphics. Recently my son got Minecraft and it's a no-go with the onboard graphics. I'm a software guy but a big dummy on hardware so can you please help me? I just need a cheap one that will get me by.
    Slot is x16 PCIe

    1. My budget is as cheap as I can get and run this game. Under $40 would be nice.
    2. My power supply says "Thermaltake TT-8020A"
    3. I'm running Windows XP Professional SP3.
    4. Specs from "CPU-Z"
    a.CPU: Intel Pentium 4 640 (Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.20 GHz)
    b.Mainboard: Intel Corporation D915GRO (AAC89748-202) Chipset: Intel i915P/i915G Rev B1
    c. Memory: DDR, 2048 MBytes
Here's a page with some sys requirements for the game:

Please let me know what my cheapest bet would be so I can get off the onboard! Thanks!!!!!!

    Thanks,
    Steve

There are plenty of low budget cards that fit the bill. I recommend shopping on www.newegg.com and reading some reviews. It's sort of a toss-up with those lower end video cards but there's plenty to choose from. If you still can't find what you are looking for post back and we'll try to recommend you something.

This is the best low-end card for the price at the moment, IMHO.
