Possible virus, malware, or other software issue?

Because I don't know if it's a virus or what...

Whenever my girlfriend's laptop starts up sometimes explorer will freeze the taskbar, startmenu, and everything in between. If I restart explorer.exe it's fixed. Sometimes when I start an application such as World of Warcraft, explorer once again freezes.

I'm going to upload my hjt logs in a second, but if anybody has any first guesses I'd love to hear them.

Here's the HJT log. I'm running a battery of scans on it now, this is my second pass though with nothing coming up. Making me believe it's a software issue.

Please follow the steps in the Virus and Malware Removal thread

Attach the three logs when finished. Note: after you finish Mbam and SAS, rescan with HijackThis and include new log plus the logs from the other two programs.

Run a full system scan with Avira. Save the log and include as attachment in new reply.
