Have XP-PRO, dont know what bios. Computer is 2 months old (Microtek). Cant set the CD drive to boot with Power Quest Drive Image CD. I can enter setup mode on start-up. But cant find a way to set the CD DRIVE to boot first.

    Welcome to Techspot!

Do you mean you can get in the BIOS-setup or in the Windows Setup-menu (like Start normal, start in save mode etc).

To get into BIOS, upon starting your PC, as soon as it beeps, press the DEL (or try F1, F2, F5 or F10) key. In your BIOS, look for a tab "Boot" or something. You get on-screen instructions in the BIOS on how to change the settings.

I used F11, but what I got didnot have any tabs or any way to save changes.

Do you know what a BIOS looks like inside?
It normally starts with Date and Time and Harddisk/Floppy information.
I get the impression you don't get into BIOS.
Can you give more details of what you see when you hit that F11?

Thank you. I did not see that it had told me to hit DEL to get to Bios. Was able to finish setting up Drive Image. Drive Image CD will now start the computer, even wihout an OS.
    Thank you again,
