Problem with my DVD drive

    hi friends,


    i am using lenovo laptop with xp os..
    my dvd drive is Matshita Dvd drive uj-85js
    my drive was working properly..

    but for past two days, my drive detecting dvd but not cd. when i insert cd its detecting as audio files or blank ccd. but detecting dvd properly..

    whats prob ? please help me to solve it

    Got into Device Manager and remove the drive , then reboot the computer. If that doesnt work, the drive may be failing.
