Download the file i gave you. I got 29 Seconds for a 1M run.

That is calculating 1 million digits of PI

PI is something to do with the radius of a circle nub lol. PI like PIE. It tells you a time, what was it, mine was 29 seconds. I guarantee yours is higher. Did you run the program inside the .zip folder?

Go inside the extracted folder and run SUPER_PI.exe. Then Hit at the top left calculate then hit 1M

See cut that drectly in half lol. See the comparison here, there is a new architecture that makes them so good. So at about 3.2Ghz they would be equal lol. That is about the score my 2.93Ghz Celeron D got lol, thats not bad but the Laptop Celerons are way better.

Ya well you said you had up to 300$, If I were you and you really wanted to play that game, get the processor and possibly some memory.

i havent installed it yet but on the other pc (desktop) i open it and it comes across the screen and doesnt do anything justs sits there i waited like 5min and nuthin happened

Well install it on your laptop, if it dosnt run worth crap, a processor and memory upgrade wont do much, a video card is needed which is hard to do in a laptop.

Well im just saying, these things need a seperate processor/RAM to play with good quality, you may be able to play on low right now, if you cant, there is no point in upgrading processor, memory would be first because it would allow you to have more Video RAM.

It might not be that much longer... I have basically an Athlon 64 3800+ and I did 1M in 34 seconds. And when I had my Core 2 unoverclocked got like 24-25s.
