But of course. But gotta give microsoft credit because i have convinced my self that a true game enthusiast owns every system. I will buy my younger sibilings a Wii so I wont really own it but will play barely play it.

But yes come the begining of 09 the PS3 HOME thing will have been launched and im sure developers will be beyond configuring PS3 Hardware. But damn people if you play madden and your buying MADDEN 08 please post your PS3 s/n so we can set up some matches

Who pays $60 a month for Xbox Live? It's like... $60 per year.

But if you guys absolutely must play something other than PC, although I can't understand why you would ever consider such a monstrosity, why not just get a Wii?

It's cheap, it has bad graphics, and I laugh myself practically unconscious when I'm playing a multiplayer game with other people... especially Warioware.

So, the system that makes you laugh the most is the funnest right?

You know what I meant. You say about a PC being a monstrosity but it is in fact the MOTHER of all Gaming. Consoles are built off of PC technology.

The Wii should have little presence in this thread. I am not sure how the PS3 makes you laugh hamas. The 360 makes me laugh, just getting a HDMI port. The Wii is not a true next gen console, it cant even play DVD's. Its the cavemans son's Console LMFAO

Well i find that funny. You say that xbox live is better than the PS3's network service but you dont own a PS3 lmfao. I know of some plans sony has for the PS3 but the fact that I am a geek in the making means Forget 120Gig Elite, eventually ima update my PS3 HDD to at least 250 gigs. I dont think I can use a HDD larger than 320GB because PS3 OS uses FAT32 filing system and I read that HDD's larger than that only support NTFS i believe.

Which in turn I will own the Elite and updates its HDD also . I need my Full Time job before I can actually make plans. I will at least have the Elite and my custom PC built even tho i might not purchase Xbox live till after the new year but you never know

Its funny that the PS3 has the same movement abilities as the Wii, so it won't be long befor we see games that incoporated movement much smoother.

The PS3's Sixaxis controller, while a nice addition, is laggy at times. You bank the controller left and the movement registers after some delay in the game. It should improve with time but right now it's not of much use and is more or less a hindrance. The Wii's controller is much more responsive. I own both systems but play more on the PS3 than the Wii, since the Wii gets boring after a while. You never get bored of roaming around in Tamriel and savoring the sights in 1080i do you?

I believe time will tell. The 360 been out longer so it has the advantage.

I just downloaded GRAW2 Demo for PS3

But i dont like to go by what other people say about something..Better off evaulating when you own it

I have PS3 60gb, iv installed yellowdog.
(linux) works with keyboard and mouse.
ialso have hdmi-to-dvi cable and hook up to my monitor.
480p is nice ps 2 games have never looked this good.

Nice job there Mega-64, I was thinking about loading fedora 7 on the ps3 but as of yet I am undecided. But i do plan on getting the logitech blue tooth keyboard.

3/60 gb?,that's 1/20 which is 0.05 out of 1 of the ps3's hard drive.(That's a fact)
