Ps3 vs Xbox360 vs Wii

Running Xp on a competitors machine...does sounds sketchy esp when i never heard of a 360 doing so.

And Technically speaking the PS3 is better...the GPU is made by nvidia....ATI makes the 360 GPU unless that changed recently.

The PS3 has more tech ability than the 360...its games ad blue ray disc can hold more than HD DVD and you have to purchase an external 2 play them anywayz so do the math....http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/hd-dvd3.htm

Ok look you also need to remember that you cant just run an oprating system like windows on PS3 , , , ,or actualy eany console you need the corect operating system and the operating system must be compatible with the hardware and the system systemstruchture. so lets pick another topic ,

Since this thread was clearly intended to discuss the merits or otherwise of the 3 main consoles, I don`t see any need for a poll edit.

why hasnt anybody brough wii into the discussion?

its true, the wii is not much of a stepup from gamecube (Graphically), but at least Nintendo experiments around with different playability to get more people that arent gamers wanting to play it, instead of the traditonal Nintendo Nerds hooked on Mario and Zelda.

I have a wii and the idea is quite revolutionary, and some of the games are outright fun as hell, even though a lot of its games arent as cracked up as they seem to be. The potential is there at least.

My friend has Xbox360 and i gotta say the games for it are really good, especially the Halo series, even though i hate the Xbox controls. They made this crazy ping pong game for it with amazing graphics and gameplay, and they made it for the wii too but the comparison didnt measure up since the graphics went way down and they changed the controls from pushing a button to swinging ur arm. Not nearly as realistic as I thought it would be.

But wait until they make that Free movement Star Wars Game for the Wii. That will be amazing...hopefully.

In conclusion, I find the most satisfying gaming for the PC (if you have a good system). thats my opinion

but IDK about the Wii its not as versatile as the PS3 or 360

When i have the money ima own all 3 and a gaming PC...thats the only real way 2 go

and if your talking about console comparisons, id say xbox360 is overall the best. The Wii console is a completely different gaming experience, because it is so unlike any other console. Its like comparing Lasertag to Gameboy. Both are fun in their own different ways, like the xbox and the wii.

But id still vote for xbox jsut cuz they make really good games.

I got to say the wii is better. Its just more fun. My brother-in-law owns one and we play every time I see him. My niece who is 4 yrs old can beat us all at the bowling on that thing. I don't like xbox because of its controls. They are to big. I can't say they don't make good games though. I did play a wrestling game for it that was awesome. The PS3 is just to darn expensive. I am not going to pay $500 for just a gaming console. Sure it can play movies but if I am going to spend that much I would be upgrading my PC.

Elite=the XBOX 360 Elite FYI, I will own one soon. I cant say much about the Wii because I dont own one and will not buy one. All three consoles have their audiance that they are appealing to.

Im'a PS fan..and the Poll shows that most people believe in sony even though their marketing strategy seems to not be working all that well.
