  1. Besides price, whats the difference between having 4GB x 2 RAM and 2GB x 4 RAM?

    some MB's do not support 4GB modules.

    How many DIMM slots get populated and overclocking -higher density modules typically overclock to a lesser degree, if at all in some cases.
    Price, and the attendant production cost (greater number of pcb layers, speed binning of appropriate memory IC's etc) is still probably the single greatest differentiator.
