Well, to be honest I didn't do anything I wasnt supposed to do. I had a limit of $1000 and had about $997 on my card and VISA/Bank of America decided "Hey let us charge this guy $5 so we can put his card over the limit!". They had NEVER charged me this fee before and wanted to call it a standard fee that was legit (which is TOTAL bullhockey).

I was paying $100/month on that card when I only HAD to pay $20. Then they pulled that crap on me and then I was paying abotu $100/month (minimum required fee) because of monthly fee, plus over the limit fees and late fees.

I would sue, but I was in college so what could I have done.

Doesn't that just piss you off? Basically the only thing you can do is bite the bullet on that one.

Personally I think they target college students as easy targets, and exploit them to their fullest capabilities.

Yea, it really does piss me off. My credit is F'd because of it now. I would burn down VISA's headquarters if I knew where it was.

I think everyone does. I mean I know people are out to make money, but things like the hidden charges, and retroactive billing, just get stupid.

That is why I plan on not having anymore credit cards than what I have. If I could just get my student loans paid off, I would be happy!!!
