Receiving error that there is no disk drive etc when using AIM or PDF programs

  1. Started receiving the following error when using AIM:

    "there is no disk in the drive Please insert a disk into drive \device\harddisk2\dr2"

    This is very strange. When I go to send a message the above pops up and then if i click on continue it sends the message.
    Every action I take with AIM causes this to occur....

    Also when opening the PDF program Nuance it requires clicking on continue for the program to work.

    Any thoughts
