Red lines unreadable display absolutely crazy, not sure if it's graphics?

    All of a sudden I was getting weird crazy stuff flashing across the screen while I was playing Football manager and the display developed these broken red lines over everywhere.

    When I move my mouse over stuff it doesn't display anything properly everything is in blocks of colour - its completely mental Like having really bad reception on an old TV.

    My first thought was that the graphics was the cause but is the comkputer acting funny enough that the CPU is dying or something?

    Any help would be much appreciate I could even take a picture?

    It's probably the graphics card failing. Can you substitute a know good card to test with or try your card in another PC?
