I have McAfee firewall & want to try Sygate. If I install Sygate I presume that I will need to disable the McAfee - I'd like to try out the Sygate & check it is working before I uninstall McAfee.
I wonder what steps I need to take to safeguard against threats while I do this. I suppose that I could buy an ADSL modem router which would give protection from inbound traffic, but would rather avoid the cost.

First download the Sygate firewall, then disconnect from the internet.

Disable the Mcafee firewall, and install the Sygate firewall, then reconnect to the net.

    Regards Howard :)
