Roomates PC BSOD'ing

He just bought a new PC and it's BSOD'ign on him. Usually only on the web watching videos. I think it is his RAM.

when i get home i can look at your dump file but what was the last thing he did

the only thing i was able to get from the mini dump which i open in text was the error code wich is 0x00000024 this means that there is a problem with your NTFS.SYS

Erm.... daniel.. you dont have a clue waht your talking about face it! Thats n00b advice. (Abologie on the naff slang).

I cannot fully determine the preoblem because I dont think the info is complete.

What are the system specs?

ok know i have had time to look at your dump files on one of them you get BugCheck 1000007E, {c0000005, 0, b9d42c78, b9d42974} and file Senfilt.sys, This file is part of the SoundMax drivers and probably other audio cards too you should look for updates to elim.... that. next we get another one that has DRIVER_FAULT error this is pointing to nv4_mini.sys wich is for nvidia not to sure from what as in video card lan card ect..? update those drives to elim... that. then another one points to nvenetfd.sys - which is presumably nvidia LAN. another file points to IP_MISALIGNED wich can be due to the lan card as said above. then we have one that points to Tdi.sys, Tdi.sys is a system sys file made by the Microsoft Corporation and is part of the Microsoft® Windows® Operating System.
If this Small (16k) internal system file is missing or damaged it can cause a variety of errors. then you get one that points to aswTdi.SYS not to sure what this is I think i remember somthing about it being a virus not to sure could googel it so far this is all i have as for the other info dont listen I thought it was another person sorry.

Hi,

I believe that the crash is related to faulty ram. Run memtest to find out which memory stick is malfunction.
