    I'm cut!!

Aussies n All Blacks ... both out!
It hurst cos England beat us ... again ...

Oh, before I meant that u lost to the Aussies (Wales that is) and that we'd eventually go on to win it.

    It's anyone's game now ...

    I personally just hate rugby

Finchy, how can you say that? It is just the most beautiful game!
Anyway, with NZ, Oz and SA out we have an interesting last few games to come and I think most Brits secretly hope that Argentina will do well - the Irish, Scots and Welsh all want them to beat England should they meet.

I will admit, it is a proper sport, but im not a fan. I just find i tedious, i don't know why.

It's not like American Football, which is the same but with armour
Or hockey, which is just pure violence

By the way, i'm aware i know virtually nothing about those sports, and may be wrong, it's just my opinion.

    Come on England!!!

There in with a good shot now of winning, but i don't think they will. :haha:

    Regards Jase :)

It seems to me,all England`s points come from the boot of one person.

Isn`t Rugby about running and passing and putting the ball over the line ?
  8. Jase123 Banned

Yes, but if your scoring the points it does not matter. :)

Were in the semi-finals, so thats a good achievement. :):)

    Regards Jase :)

The way South Africa has been playing I wouldn't be surprised if they lose against Argentina. That being said if they pull their act together I am quite confident that they could go all the way.

    It's France's for the taking now ...
My money would be on them if I was a betting man

Whaddya mean - like American Football! I watched the end of a game somewhere in Buffalo the other night where the losing coach called for a time-out 1 second before the eventual winners kicker got a brilliant field goal - farcical rule which meant it had to be done again. Couldn't believe it - and nor could the commentators.
  12. Finchy Newcomer, in training

Well, the rules may be different, but the principles of the sport remain the same. Take a wierd shaped ball, pass and run, get over the line, kick it between the posts.

However, Rugby is superior because its players don't feel the need to wear armour, a real mans game (just because i dont like it doesn't mean i don't admire it)

Biltong is tougher than French Chicken drum sticks

Sorry guys and (gals) it's gonna be frogs legs and biltong in the final... ;)

SA needs this one, -just for a change LOL.

You may be right, but perhaps Argentina need it more - and I think deserve it too.
  15. AlbertLionheart TechSpot Chancellor

Well there we are. The Boks did all the right things to win and deserved it - a dour game.
The best games of all had to be Argentina against France (twice!) and in the semi the Argybargys were just brilliant. Watch them next time - and now they have the perfect right to demand a place in the European nations competition - I know but they all train in Spain under ex Tigers man Les Cusworth.
Is that it until the next time? Will we all still b here? Will rugby eclipse football (soccer to you lot across the pond) as the world's favourite game?
Who knows - so many questions and so many imponderables......

Yeah, very interesting world cup to say the least, I was very impressed with the performance of the argentines. Unfortunaltey South Africa won in the final, but they were the lesser of two evils.
    cheers
