Before that we have England against South Africa - now that will be interesting especially as England have lost Vickary because he behaved like a poltroon, Olly injured, Wilkinson too fragile. NO kicker!
Harry Ellis would sort this lot out but he's broke too.
SA are without Burger for his tackle on Junior Polu but they have good reserves.
Still, I will go to the boozer and cheer for them.

Welsh vs Aus in Wales, hmm, Go aussie's and I think the hairy backs (South africans) will beat the english.

You all must admit; the Aussies did it easy against Wales :D

Ex-Broncoe Barnes is proving to be an excellent playmaker ...

Australia have fiji, should be easy for australia, altho it is always a good game to watch because of the flare that the fijians have.

I've avoided opening this thread for the past 2 weeks because I've been watching the Womens World Cup after work that I've recorded(games come on between 3:45 and 6 something am here and I have work). Just incase one of you guys came in here to talk about the more important World Cup :)

US won its group and their quarterfinal game vs England.
Germany beat North Korea in the other quarterfinal game.
Brazil and Sweden play tomorrow and Norway and someone else.

US Women should win the whole thing if they play like they did 2nd half of the England game. Germany is the defending champs, defending champs have never made it to the final game of the next WC.

There's only a few hours to go until Aus Vs Fiji.
I'm staying up for it. Should be a cracker ........

Although Aus should power to victory, I will be hoping Fiji can test them :D

For the Welsh supporters out there: If Fiji beat Wales, Fiji goes through!

If America weren`t winning in the women`s soccer,
it would never get a mention anywhere in America. ;)

    What a game!!!
Wales Vs Fiji lived up to the hype ... best game of the tournament so far!

    Poor ol' Wales ...

Did wales lose? ouch, so far the northern hemisphere teams have been unable to compete with the southern hemisphere teams unfortuneatly, I can't wait for Aus vs. Eng.

It just gets better - Argentina slaughtered Ireland in a game just as good if not better than Fiji/Wales.
The last 8 is going to be really interesting and I would not be surprised if there were a few more shocks in store.
  15. hynesy TechSpot Maniac Posts: 444

Yeah, has been surprising especially Ireland, they have been playing pretty awefully during this World Cup.

Nevermind ... you lost to the team that will eventually win it, so it's not all bad =]

So for the final you might expect All Blacks v Fiji?
