  1. This thread is probably going to be usurped/repackaged as front page news...but should it not make it that far then here is the latest Sandy Bridge CPU pricing, specification and release date list.

Gahh their naming scheme is annoying.
Though I suppose it isn't a huge change from current i5/i7's.

Don't they run on a new socket?

Now you know how I feel about ATI Radeon video card designations. Come to think of it, their damned AMD CPU numbers too. (Although not nearly as much).

@DBZ: The website you linked to should seriously consider renaming the , "Click to Read English Version" button, to the, "Click to Read the Sort of English Version".

    It's Engrish. :haha:

Whats with the K's? Are they mobile variants or something?

I knoooowwww! I was guessing, "kilos", or maybe, "Kelvin". Or a better guess, "unlocked", (which strangely doesn't begin with a "K").

Aye, K for unlocked multiplier....kind of fits in with the rest of the naming nomenclature...X for Extreme, S and U for low voltage, H and Q for IGP inclusive motherboard. Simple really...if you happen to have an Enigma machine handy.

Really want to see some benchmarks because I'm ready to build a new system.
