Screen saver stop working after installing Norton

I have following:
HP pro 3500 Series
Pentium CPUG870 @ 3.10 Ghz
4 GB ram
64 bit
Windows 7 professional

Every thing was good till yesterday. I install new 2013 security software from Novel and now the screen saver does not work.

What can I Do?
_Please send me step by step instruction because I am not technically qualified.

First off the title says Norton & the message says Novel. Which is it?

SUPERAntispyware,, Avast & SpywareBlaster. I use those on my W7 with no problem. Get them here

I just paid $65.00 for Norton software and I can not return it back.
I tried to down load supera antispyware but did not work, they wanted $25.00

Yes, I'm using the free versions of those & yes, you do install them. Since you paid for it & can't return it, go ahead & use it till it expires & then don't re new it.
I have been using the free version for years with no problems. Go ahead & install SpywareBlaster . I think this tutorial will work ok http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/use-spywareblaster-to-protect-your-computer/

I tried to down load Spywareblaster but they wanted me to sign up for some service which I do not need. It seems like it is not free.

Have you checked your screen saver settings? It might be set to none so it won't work.
