Seagate 320GB external HDD not showing in XP SP3

    i hv seagate 320gb HDD
    when i pluged in to laptop (OS Win XP SP3) its
    detected & shown in Device manager as
    "Initio"combo device class"
    Initio default controller "
    but explorer not shown any new Drive

    every time i connect & disconnected the HDD Bell Sound ( DING dong)
    but nothing happen
    I also use on my desktop PC with OS vista Again same os MSG box instal device driver
    But when
    I tried in OS windows 7 & its shown prefect

    plz suggest me any device driver ?? any other solution for this
