I'm trying to get some help on manually rebuilding a corrupt split file rar.
The job's simple enough: It's a two part split file that I want to extract:
Chaining Intention - English & Chinese Sub - Miku - HD.part1.rar
and
Chaining Intention - English & Chinese Sub - Miku - HD.part2.rar
The files are corrupted, of course, and no attempt by any automatic repair tool is capable of repairing the file. It would be nice if some program out there could fix the problem, but, alas, there is no such thing in existence; only a myriad of totally worthless programs that fail at every turn to repair the issue.
The file, once extracted, should be an mp4 video file. At the moment, winrar and 7zip don't recognize the two files as a split file and end up extracting corrupted files when you try to extract.
Being a total layman, I really have no idea how to manually fix such an extremely simple issue.
Anyone know where I can find good reference material on how to do this?
