Basically they want to try to catch me for cheating and because copies are only saved client side, not server side, tey only have my final submitted exam not the one before it died.

Formatting your HDD will do the trick. I doubt they will try and go as far as recovering deleted data.

I wnat to reformat to make sure they cant just extract the HDD, but I also dont want the comp to power up period...

As I pointed out earlier, it will all be a bit obvious. If you don't want it to power up. Grab the sticks or stick of ram and mess them up. Take a knife to them - what ever. Put them back in and the computer will not turn back on with defective ram.

When you reformat and install all your programs again, it will show in the uninstall manager what date everything was installed. I think your best bet is take the RAM like Blk said and break them. You may want to also bend the pin where the AC adapter is inserted so that you plug the computer in and try to turn it on and it will look like power is being sent to the PC, while it really isnt.

People usually come to this site to help fix their computers not break them. Plus, from what I gather from the story you cheated or broke school policy. So, you probably won't find much help from this site then what you're already getting.

yes I know I made a mistake and im embarssed about it.
you dont understand the tremenduous amount of pressure on me going to night school with a kid too...
life isnt always so black and white but the neverhtless, I thank you for time and help.
