Similarities reviews

Hi there,

New one here :p

So I was just browsing the internet, searching for some review and I saw a huge similarity between a Techspot review and one from another site.

Here are the links:

Date: 03/02/2010
http://www.legionhardware.com/articles_pages/asrock_p55_deluxe3,3.html

By Steven Walton on November 17, 2009
https://www.techspot.com/review/214-intel-p55-motherboard-roundup/page3.html

Glue the link together. I can't post links, post count < 5 :p

First sentence Legion:
If you are coming from a P45 motherboard you will undoubtedly notice the P55 platform gets a more compact cooling treatment on most boards.

First sentence Techspot:
If you are coming from a P45 motherboard you will undoubtedly notice the P55 platform gets a more compact cooling treatment.

These aren't the only ones, just check the link.

I post this in a topic since I can't send a PM to an admin (I don't have 30 posts :p)

I'm a reviewer myself so I hate it when people just copy-paste stuff and since Techspot posted the review earlier I inform you guys. Maybe it's intereseting...

Thank you for the note Bolletje. The reason for the similarity is that the article author is the same: Steven Walton.

We generally don't duplicate content or the devices reviewed by Steve himself. Moreover, our editorial guidelines and process is quite different for both sites. However, in this particular case the information is more or less the same because we did a full round-up here on TechSpot comparing a few different P55 solutions while Legion Hardware (Steve's own site) did a standalone product review. Hope that makes sense.

Aha, thanks for the reply.

I was looking at the name, "Hmmm, both Steve..".

That makes it clear indeed.

@ Steve, nice review(s) :)
