Sims 2 Directx, Nvidia 8600M GT Problem

    Hey all, I'm having a directx problem as well. I'd appreciate any help.

    4gigs DDR2 RAM

    Vista 32Bit Home Premium


    Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT (Laptop)
    512RAM (dxdiag says approx 1774)

    Intel Core Duo 2.5 T9300

    DirectX version 10

    Driver: nvd3dum.dll,nvwgf2um.dll
    Ver:7.15.0011.5680
    WHQL Logo YES
    DDI Ver 10



    I hope this is enough information, and I'm not sure about the driver, my laptop came with a CD with drivers on it, and they are the only ones that I have had no problems with.

    That said, whatever problems you are having, perhaps it is related to this: NVIDIA 8400M/8600M chips faulty.

    Oh sorry about that. Well I'm installing the sims again now, but I got the error about a directx adaptor. Like it wasn't compatible with Directx 9.0c.

    I'll update you all when I install the game again. I'll probablly have the same problem
