I'm sorry for the late response Broni. The computer needed to be sent back to the owner. I tried to keep it for a couple more days but the owner insisted on taking it back before I had a chance to run the last set of security checks you outlined.
I checked in with him yesterday and he has experienced no issues since.

In the future make sure you observe my rules:

The cleaning process, once started, has to be completed. Even if your computer appears to act better, it may still be infected. Once the computer is totally clean, I'll certainly let you know.
