Sound Acceleration

  1. Hey. I remember back when I had windows XP I could adjust the hardware acceleration to standard, full, or whatever through dxdiag to fix my games. Well vista ultimate 64bit, in all of their perfection, did not give me such a luxery. Now I'm stuck with their perfection in CoD5, which perfectly cold freezes at random, and under ten minutes of play. I'm almost certain the problem is audio related, being that my computer is loaded up with eight gigs of ram and a nice video card.

    Does anyone know a workaround in vista ultimate for audio acceleration? Apart from obviously turning it off. . .
