    Hi!

I'm having trouble with spotify on a laptop running winXP SP3. Sometimes the audio skips, just like a scratched CD. It skips maybe half a second every time, but this is very annoying, and it happens several times in each song. Sometimes a can listen to a few songs without skipping, I can't find a pattern as to when it happens. I have a fast internet connection, and the computer specifications are:

    i7-820QM(1.73GHz), 4GB RAM, 320GB 7200rpm HD, 15.6in 1920x1080 LCD, 1GB nVIDIA Quadro FX 880M

I tried to google this, but all I found were problems related to Linux/Wine.

    I'd appreciate any help.

Turn off the wireless. The wireless scans for networks every few seconds\minutes, and might cause that audio skip on certain models of notebook. You should not notice it if you are connected to a wireless network.

    Worth a shot anyway.
