Spyware, anti-virus and firewall combination

what is the best combination of products to use for firewalls, anti-virus and spyware? Im askin cos my bro-in-law has recently used spyware doctor and it said he had 500+ infections, including his current spyware program spysheriff. my bro has etrust antivirus and firewall, and at the mo spysheriff, ive got symantec corp antivirus and firewall, and AVG free edition. Thanx in advance

hmm, from my experiences before i doubt id use Zone alarm, as it keeps askin if you want to do things everytime u click on summat, which gets annoying if you have a dynamic IP

I`ve got a dynamic IP and Zonealarm and I`ve never had a problem.

You can always tell Zonealarm to remember the answer you give(tick the little box) when it asks you what you want to do. That way, it won`t keep asking you.

just a nit: AVG free doesn't have the Firewall feature -- you need to purchase the PRO edition
