hey howard, I suspect there are some nasty malwares in my computer that slow my computer down, I've post the Hijackthis log hoping you can help me out. Thanks!

Have HJT fix the following entries.

    F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\Windows\system32\Userinit.exe

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)

Other than the above useless entries, your HJT log is clean.

If you have any further virus/spyware problems, please post in this thread.

    Regards Howard :)

I can't fix the above entries in normal mode! After I place a tick in front of those entries and then click the fix button, another window show up with no content. What did I do wrong?

    Post a fresh HJT log.

You didn`t do anything wrong and in anycase, those entries aren`t dangerous. Just leave them alone if you want.

There`s nothing nasty in your HJT log.

    Regards Howard :)

Are you sure the following entries:
    *F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\Windows\system32\Userinit.exe
*O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file) aren't dangerous? If they aren't dangerous, why did you suggest me to fix them? I'm a little confuse?

    Userinit.exe

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)=Windows Live Messenger.

Both entries are ok and nothing to worry about.

You can fix them from normal mode if you want. If they come back, don`t worry. It may be something to do with Vista.

    Regards Howard :)
