    Thank you very much Broni for walking me through this whole process.
    My computer seems fine and -although I can't be sure- somehow lighter.

    I'm afraid I made a silly move, though:
    After running the OTL fix (the first step on your list after JavaRa) I got careless and continued with the cleanup (including OTL's log... yeah, I know...). When I realized I had no log to show it was too late. Should I repeat the process?

    One last question:
    I use a Belkin wireless modem/router with my desktop and a Dell laptop. They shared a couple of folders (some docs and music) in a home network. When I found I was infected I withdrew the laptop from this network. It shows no sign of strange behavior and it's protected by MSE which says it's clean. I downloaded MBAM but it freezes during a quick scan (both in normal and safe mode). I know it sometimes happens but I didn't like this. Should I start a new topic to check it out or am I overreacting?
