    Hmm that should be the right type of ram for the computer what you can do is put it

    in a different slot to see if it works or download memtest and let it run for 7 passes to

    see if the ram is bad

    yes power it down then disconnect the power cable hold the power button for 10 second then place it in when you bought it how did you install it also how did you remove it right now

    when i bought it i turned off my comp and put it in then when i took it out i just turned off comp and took it out

    below is the link for memtest you need to extract it from the zip file then burn the iso image onto a cd then boot off of it. It will take a while you need to let it run for 7 passes

    I thank you very much for your help one more question i like to play wow have 1.5 gb ram and 6200gt graphics card what would you recommend upgrade for better wow play.

    I have a question, I am working on a HP a1267c desktop model. The computer is stuck on the HP invent window. I will not let me into any thing. I have disconnected every thing on the PC. The only thing that is running is the cpu and ram. I have also tried to clear the cmos and reset it but no luck

    Can some one please help me figure this out. I have run out of options
