System error Event D 1003

  1. Hello,
    i am hoping one of you can help me. y machine has gotten to be very slow and crashes intermittently. in event viewer i get this message

    Error code 100000d1, parameter1 00000000, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000008, parameter4 00000000.

    just now noticed this error as well

    Event D 51
    An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk1\D during a paging operation.

    i am beginning to think have a memory issue. is there anyone who is able to decipher memory dumps. i could really use the help.

    Among other things your hard disc drive is likely failing or already gone. You might still be able to recover data if you do not mess with it too much, but its time to total failure is short.
    The Error notes you posted are actually the reports of the memory dump as the system failed.
    Lucky for you, hard drives nowadays are really quite inexpensive.

    Thanks for replying

    I will run some hard drive diags on it today. The Hard drive error is the first one that I have seen. The system has had the other errors repeatedly. Can anyone here decipher the dumps tpo confirm this.
