System keeps going to blue screen with this error STOP: 0x0000008E - please help?

    Hello

    I was happily using my computer when my anti virus said something about a trojan virus, didnt really have time to read the message and then it went to the blue screen. Have kept trying to restart but always to blue screen.

    Works fine in safe mode.

    This is my current Technical Information:

    STOP: 0x0000008E (0x0000005, 0xAC2FBB3A, 0xA8D437EC, 0x00000000)

    Now i have googled this and it states the usual about memory, but i have not added any hardware or software for months.

    I have Windows Media XP

    Would some (highly intelligent) kind hearted soul please help me?
