This error message appears after Windows XP tries to load.

"Stop: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000135 (0x00000000 0x00000000).
The system has been shut down."

I've tried rebooting in Safe Mode and Debugging mode. This message still appears. I've tried cleaning the inside, dusting it, putting a fan at it, and plugging it into different power sources. Still won't work.

I recently cleaned out a few viruses (VBS Solow and its variants), and this occurred after turning the computer on a few hours later.

Any help would be appreciated greatly.

I've seen that link before, but...

I can't find a way to load command prompt.
Last Known Good Configuration doesn't work.
This computer did not come with a Windows XP CD.

:(

I'm not sure, this isn't my computer. I am just trying to help out a friend, and she doesn't know anything about computers. Since she never touches anything that sounds even slightly technical, I am going to assume that it's still there.

Well, I think you are gonna have to get clear information on make and model for any further help here. Surely the friend has some paperwork on this!
