TDK Trans-it Flash Drive Problem

Recently, i bought this TDK Trans-it Flash Drive with a storage capacity of 2GB and a password protection feature. The special feature allows you to divide its memory capacity into two categories: Public and Secured. I then allocated 1GB for each category. Unfortunately however, my flash drive was reformatted. I then lost the password protection feature. Not only that, its capacity was decreased to 1GB. Does anyone of you here know how to revive the password protection feature? Or how to remove the partition so i can make use of its 2GB capacity? I badly need your help.
