The reason is that we want to motivate users to post not only on the forums but also collaborate with insightful comments on the news. If done right, this could become yet another daily resource of info, but of course we need members participation :)

Don't discard the possibility of a forums-only contest later next year.

    WHat the hell. Why not.

Winning these things (competitions in general) is not my speciality, but I post here and there on the frontpage news anyway. Might as well join in.

Hello and thanks for the giveaway. :) Like many others who've posted, this would be the perfect gift for me as the cost of moving to PCI-e has been holding up my upgrade for a while now.

Have you decided upon the specifics of shipping? (what company etc.) And if I win somehow, would you add a 'GIFT' note on the package? :grinthumb (I've had trouble with stuff getting stuck at customs before)

I already have a 7800GT card but another one would be grat for SLI! Great contest. And the GPU is awesome as it is, 2 would be amazing :D

Dude, you have no idea how much I could love a new graphics card... much GeForce4 440 MX is just too outdated to handle anything these days; maybe it's big brother could help me out?
  14. Kev_Boy Newcomer, in training

Like our fellow smiley here :hotbounce I'd jump through fire for one of these bad boys, count me in.
Through this competition I also came in touch with these boards so - Hello everyone!

    Visigoth

Not sure my system would take the new vid card. I have a AGP slot. Could take a sound card or a scanner though.
  19. spartanslayer Newcomer, in training

I'm planning on building a new system over Christmas break. Perfect chance to go SLI, as I was planning on getting one. Or I could save $350 on a new one.
  20. FrumpD63 Newcomer, in training

With a free $350 card, a motherboard upgrade would be well worthwhile. Theyre relatively cheap and you could still use all the other components.
