Since the update with the shop ect the whole game has gone to hell. The aspect of teamwork is obsolete when you have heavies that can snipe better than the sniper and invincible milkman scouts.

Really?! thats pretty gay, I only stopped playing it just after the shop was released as I now play L4D2 all the time (and next on my list is BF:BC2).
Thats a shame because back in the day it was really good!

It's mostly my opinion(plus over 1/4 of the community that quit) but the game really does seem FUBAR. After 7 patches the heavy can still take down an entire team at long range with no effort.
I just joined up on the TS steam group. I'll try to make it if possible. My username is vtvbreech. If we're looking for fast paced games I'd like to throw out Day of Defeat Source. It's simple, quick, and a cheap buy in for those that don't own it.......plus it can be a lot of fun with enough players.

i live in southern california. the server is based in dallas texas.
how in the world can a heavy snipe better than a sniper? the crosshairs. minigun? the class is based. what? invincible scouts? where do you play i want to see these invincible scouts. my head is full of what?

I used this to work out the difference for Eastern>UK time. Maybe it'll be of use to you mate.
If it works, It should be 11.46 EST in the US. Its 16.46 here in the UK, as we're 5 hours ahead of you. I've setup an additional clock that comes up when I hover over my actual taskbar time now, so it shows the current EST time, alongside my local time.

5am is what I worked out.
Assuming the timezone being used is Eastern (US/Canada). The site I linked above says we're 5 hours ahead of the EST timezone.
So friday 2359 hours EST, will be saturday 0459 UK time.
Least thats how I worked it out, but there is so many EST times, I just went for the US/Canada one which I assume is correct.
It would be cool if a member in EST local time (to which this midnight time applies) could give me there current local time, and then I can make sure I'm right! :haha:

I think I might be confusing you, unless your on UK time too? If thats the case sorry!
EST is GMT-5.
So the event is 00:00 EST, or 05:00 GMT-0 (UK timezone). The UK is GMT-0 in world times.

Not that I'm any good at sniping (well not with a computer anyway!), and I'm likely going to get my rear end spanked, but it should be worth a laugh! I'm downloading TF2 through steam along with a load of HL2 games. Its 01:25 here, not long to go.

Just to make sure there's no confusion, we're playing L4D2 tonight . TF2 will be next Friday. The games will be rotated weekly (unless nobody wants to play one of them) and hopefully we'll be able to add more titles to the list soon.
