  1. I just wanted to thank you for the 8 steps to help remove a bowers hijack or a virus. I followed the direction that was given to do before you made a post...
    And it worked like a charm... Thank you for being here to help the rest of us that don't have a clue as to what to do next...

    Jaggs, you're welcome for those directions, but I don't see any thread for us to review the logs and guide you. I would caution you that while one problem may have been resolved, if it was from malware, you could still have malware on the system. Note- the name of that thread begins with the word Preliminary.

    Why don't you start a thread, tell us the problem and paste in the logs from the programs you ran. We can see if anything further needs to be done and make sure the system is clean and safe.
