The Best PC Games (You Should Be Playing)

There's plenty of actual PC games that could be on this list, instead of multiplatform--mainly console focused--garbage like the Gears or Asscreed series.

And then there's the games everyone already knows and has known of for years: The big MOBAs and BR games. If we're not playing MOBAs and BR games; we're not going to play any of them, and there's 3 on this list.

Maybe we can get some PC-only titles on the next list? Since it's, y'know, a PC game list..

I went home and was ready to plop some cash down for Forza Horizon... to my dismay it *requires* Win10. I will not put that OS on my machine. Well, they lose out on my cash, and who knows how many millions of others' cash. Sucks for them. I was looking forward to it.

I was also going to buy Rally 2, but it's full retail at $60, plus DLC bullcrap that should have been put into the game. They purposefully kept it out. No way. Thanks for saving me money for not buying it. Fired up Spintires again. :)

I had the same idea a few years ago but decided to give win10 a try because of a different win 10 exclusive racing game. To my surprise, it works the same if not better than 7.

Sinve then I played a ton in forza horizon 3 and went all-in with forza horizon 4 - pre-ordered ultimate edition. The game is totally worth switching over to windows 10, IMO.

Or getting Xbox one x, but switching to win10 is cheaper.

So, you gave up your privacy for a game? Caved so easily, they won. Ouch. That combined with MS' underhanded and forced tactics keeps me away. That's like driving a newer car because it has a better cupholder at the expense of satellite/audio/video tracking you. Afterwards you find out they force you to reset your seat and mirror positions every drive (patch), and it moves on you while driving. Oh, and the engine shuts down and resets while on the highway. lol

I struggle to understand the value of a list of computer games you should play that is filled with highly publicised, for the most part triple-a games, that people are likely already playing or have already gotten a good idea on. I feel TechSpot had a great opportunity to showcase great games that you should be playing but are not, and instead chose to showcase great games you should be playing and are.

Look, most of those are great games but I feel this post is a bit pointless.

Gotta agree. This is just a list of games people are already playing. Friggin Fortnite? Really?

I bought Forza Horizon 4. Graphics is nice, cars are nice, but there's something missing there. Can't say what, let's just say the game is missing a soul. It's boring. I hope they'll make it more addictive in the next version. Also, I'm sick of driving on the left side. They should have locations where you can drive on the left side (UK, Australia, Japan, etc) and locations where you can drive on the right side, inside of the same sequel. Then it would be cool.

I enjoyed the first two Metro games too; I've been waiting for Exodus to come down in price in a nice sale.

Agreed.

Literally only one game in that list is available just for PC.

I would argue only Plague and Control are really worth any time and investment, also kinda pointless article to throw PC games in the title when all but one game are available on consoles.

What? No, these are stupid comments. This is for people who have a PC that can play games well enough or better or plan to buy one, but for whatever reasons haven't been keeping up with what games have been released. That includes all games that you can play on a PC.

And if it were down to exclusives only (a rather stupid thing in and of itself), then it would be very barren. Hell, even consoles would be barren apart from Nintendo if we went that route.

Not necessarily true. Of the current list, I've only played 1 (Fortnite), have heard of 5 of the other games (or at least heard of/played a prior installment in the series), & know nothing of the rest. Of the "recently dropped", I currently play 1 of them (Overwatch), & have heard of and/or played prior installments of 2 others. So there are some of us that don't run out & buy every AAA game that comes out on the market, or necessarily even follow every single game released.

I want to play all these on my 4K TV, but I am gonna wait for next gen "TRUE" 4K gaming video cards... it's been taking too long...

...no, if you think 2080ti, it is an unnecessary brute force beast built upon ancient tech that costs too much.

Same here...I'm tired of killing killing killing...and more killing. there are so many good games outside the mainstream box. I do like driving though...and am playing Need for Speed Underground 2 for the first time. Awesome retro game with surprising good graphics.
I believe that more games should be developed outside of American influence. The aforementioned driving and especially the killing, killing, killing are ingrained into their psyche.
