The "I deleted the multimedia audio controller" problem again

I'm trying to fix my brothers Dell Dektop Computer. He accidentally deleted the multimedia audio controller from the add/remove programs in the control panel and now the computer does'nt have sound. The speakers that I use is built in to the monitor Which is a Compaq Q1859 LCD Monitor.
In device manager under 'Other Devices' a yellow "!" appears next to "Multimedia Audio Controller which says I need to reinstall a driver. I have the CD that came with the Monitor but everytime i use it, and click on the "Reinstall Driver" button, a message will show up saying that the software was not found even though i used the same CD to reinstall a video driver.

So, does anyone know how to help me wit this problem ive beenmessing with for hours?

Go the Dell support site HERE. Click Downloads and Drivers. Enter the service tag. Dell will display the drivers for that computer. Download it from their site
